Barenaked Ladies!

I had a supermegajumbogreat time at the BNL concert last night at the Palladium! BNL completely rocked the place out. As usual they made with teh funnay and teh anecdotes in between songs, including: Tyler “Master of Shake” Stewart, The One About Beaver Tails and Winterlude, the ol’ 5 minute mid-$1000000 segue about anything and everything including the canal and the Annie-esque finale to “What A Good Boy” at the end of the second encore.
What a good band, what a smart band, what a strong band
Despite the fact that this is their “Barenaked Ladies Are Me” tour, they played songs from across their entire discography including great songs that don’t get much air time like “Intermittently” from their album “Maybe you shouldn’t drink a one litre shake” and “Straw Hat and Dirty Old Hank” from “Born on A Pirate Ship”.
The whole event was elevated to the extrasupremegahappy level for me by the graceful presence of my Favourite Blue Devil. Best part of the concert? When the Ladies came back for their second encore and we just stood there standing and snugglin’ all through “What A Good Boy” after everybody else sat down again.
