Virginia 2005

I decided to go visit Pete and Manon in Virginia at the end of March. Turns out that they had reason to come to Ottawa at the end of March but they were heading home on April 1st. I decided to tag along for the trip.


Normally a nine hour trip, this one took us twelve hours. It started with a stop at the bank to take care of some surprise business (almost like an April Fool's joke, really, but it's Pete's story to tell, not mine). Along the way many stops were made at McDonald's PlayPlace, various rest stops, and sometimes even random stops by the side of the highway. We arrived sometime between 22h00 and 23h00.


The rest of this album will act something like a diary. Click on the first photo to see the descriptions (or "diary entries" as I like to call them). Some photos may have comments. If they don't, feel free to add your own. For the lazy or click-impaired, there's a slideshow function in the upper-right just waiting for you.


The slideshow doesn't show the descriptio..., er, "diary entries", but serves you right for bein' lazy d:). Looks like the only way to read the descriptions and comments and stuff is to actually look at the pictures. Besides, who wants to skim through a bunch of little thumbnails all stuffed onto a page or two when they can look at one nice, big photo per page, in all its majesty.
